Feast One Hundred & Thirty-Six

Appetizer
Who is your favorite news anchor/reporter? Why?
  • Peter Mansbridge, because he's always cool, calm, and collected. Here's a linky (because I liked La Tomate's linky.....Peter Mansbridge

  • Soup
Name 3 foods that are currently in your freezer.
  • Weight Watchers meals, frozen fruit, frozen bread.

  • Salad
If you were to have the opportunity to name a new town or city, what would you call it?
  • Tinsletown

  • Main Course
What will most likely be the next book you read?
  • Odd Thomas by Stephen King Dean Koontz (DOH...and mercis to Selena and Joseph)

  • Dessert
What's the first thing you notice about the opposite gender?
  • Now, we'll be 25 years married, and I always notice My Sweetie and his associated parts. But, if by chance there is something interesting to look at in the way of the opposite gender, and sometimes that happens (ie the gym), I notice the butt and legs...then I look at the whole package to see if the definition is spread accordingly.

    Seriously!

  • ABOUT THE FEAST
While our questions may sometimes be related to food, the main idea here is to feed your mind by asking thought-provoking, mind-stimulating questions. Each Friday when you visit this meme, you will find 5 enticing courses for your mind to gobble up:
    Appetizer
    - a quick, tasty morsel to get you started
    Soup
    - smooth and warm to soothe your mind
    Salad
    - a nutritious blend of "veggies"
    Main Course

    - a hearty portion that is sure to satisfy
    Dessert
    - light concoction for your sweet tooth

Oh, I had to google Peter Mainsbridge. I get the funny feeling we're not watching as much CBC as we should. ;-) I hope it's not in the Citizenship test. ;D

hhhmmmm... Maybe. Maybe not. :-) I've only been in Canada 18 months, so I'm not overly familiar with things here/North America as others (hence the learning that Canadians seem to be passionate one way or another about CBC) ... I linked my stuff just as an FYI. ;D S'up to you!

You mentioned Stephen King. That guy is so prolific. I was web surfing IMDB yesterday and happened upon him. Do you realize almost everything he writes is turned into a movie or miniseries?

"The Mist" is the next one, with that beautiful Alexa Davalos, who was in that great new show starring Jeff Goldblum, "Raines" Friday nights 9PM EST on NBC.

One thing I'm getting from this Friday's Feast as I move along reading my favorite blogs is a lot of interesting book titles to consider reading in the near future. I gotta go with you on the things I tend to notice first about the opposite gender!
