A Couple of Things

My Sweetie sent me these. I had heard of National De-Lurking week, and then got busy with stuff, but those kinds of celebrations don't go away, hence this post.

My sidebar is going to sport these 2 little icons, in the hopes that maybe just one or two of you will come out from under your rock and leave me a wee bit of words. It's not so much that I judge a blog by the number of comments that one has per post. Nope. But sometimes it's just nice to know that there are actual living breathing bodies out there, who bother to stop by during their frightfully busy day.

So go on....don't be afraid....de-lurk.....leave a comment.

You'll be glad you did.

Since I sent you the pictures...I thought it only reasonable to comment as well...so here you are...a comment...about...commenting or not. Interesting commentary don't you think?

I love the picture of the lady -"Would it kill you to comment?" May have to try to steal that puppy!

Oh- gotta tell you this - I usually try to comment any time I visit your site as well as others but some days, like right now, Blogger or dial-up - one or the other - doesn't like to cooperate with me on setting those comments in on others blogs. Pain in the old dupa that is and very frustrating to have to wait anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes for things to go through. Right now, I am going on 3 minutes waiting for blogger (or dial-up) to finish loading the comment thingy here! If I weren't totally addicted to blogging and reading, etc., I wouldn't even try and if I were trying to read blogs, comment, and actually had a job and other valuable things to do, I wouldn't bother at all to try to wait for it to finish setting up. Wish someone could do something about this issue -probably just mine though I suppose. If I finally make the big move and sign on with broadband and if this continues on then, we'll know it's Blogger then anyway and not dial-up. One way to solve a mystery, huh? Finally - that only took 4 minutes for this to set up so I could do the word verification and then hit publish! Phew!

Hey Mau!

I'm commenting too! One of these days you'll have to add my blog to your list of reads....I have tried real hard to maintain it regularly....
