Then again, I don't know the size of your house. But I had a 4.5 room apartment at the time, and 3 hours a week was just right for floors, vaccuum, dusting, bath and kitchen.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30020831.post-1160341913288839392006-10-08T17:11:00.000-04:002006-10-08T17:11:00.000-04:00cunada eins - hi ...thx for chiming in....so glad ...cunada eins - hi ...thx for chiming in....so glad to hear that, BUT, does this mean that I might have to go for a weekly basis? So I got a cleaning lady. 3.5 hours/week. Best thing I ever did. I'm sure your mom would approve. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30020831.post-1160333205788068732006-10-08T14:46:00.000-04:002006-10-08T14:46:00.000-04:00Thx jmai. I think it was in your blog where I read about your cleaning adventure, and then we were talking with peers who have had this type of service for years. Then the guilt that I had built up faded.

The pain continues, however, that is the big pre-cleanup/purge. I am one third of the way there, and already feeling good. The promise that I made was that the floors would be clear of clutter....no pickups etc...and that, as you say, will certainly be a good thing all around.

Cheers!masgbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16397312038827059675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30020831.post-1160317526864014302006-10-08T10:25:00.000-04:002006-10-08T10:25:00.000-04:00It's lovely, isn't it, having someone else clean y...It's lovely, isn't it, having someone else clean your home? The hardest part is putting away all the junk that's accumulated in places where it doesn't belong, before she comes in to do her job. Small price to pay in the end, though...and only you really know where your stuff goes.

Enjoy the feeling!JMaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06539451622257583244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30020831.post-1160270137638304512006-10-07T21:15:00.000-04:002006-10-07T21:15:00.000-04:00I think so too.
